This applies in particular to the founder’s photograph and, unless otherwise stated, to the photographs of the properties presented.

The information on this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute an offer or contractual advice. Elegem Immobilier takes care to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that it is always complete or up to date. Descriptions, floor areas and prices of the properties presented are indicative and not contractually binding. An exchange by email, phone, WhatsApp or social media does not constitute a brokerage mandate or a firm offer. Links to third-party websites are provided for your convenience; we have no control over their content.

Elegem Immobilier processes your personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its Data Protection Ordinance (DPO). We only collect what is needed to answer your requests.

Data processed
- Contact and request data: name, contact details and information you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or social media message.
- Mandate data: information about the property (description, documents, plans) and, depending on the mandate, identity documents or information on financing capacity. With the client’s consent, property listings (photos, description, price, location) are published on our website, our social media and property portals. The owner’s name is not published without their express consent.
- Data received from third parties: as part of a mandate, we may receive data from third parties, for example owners, interested buyers or tenants, or public registers such as the land register.
- Technical data: on each visit, the hosting provider automatically records technical information (IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser) in server logs, to keep the website secure and working properly. These logs are kept for a limited period.
Purposes
Your data is used only to answer your request, to prepare and carry out any mandate (brokerage, property management, renovation) and to meet our legal obligations. It is never sold, rented or used for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no cookies, no audience measurement and no advertising tools. Fonts are hosted on our own server: no data is sent to third-party services when you visit.
If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, this service is provided by a Meta group company (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, in Ireland, or WhatsApp LLC, in the United States, depending on your country of residence), whose parent company, Meta Platforms, Inc., is based in the United States. Your messages, your phone number and the related technical data may then be processed in the European Union and in the United States. Switzerland recognises the European Union as providing an adequate level of protection. For the United States, Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the Swiss Federal Council. This processing is governed by WhatsApp’s terms and privacy policy. If you prefer to avoid this transfer, please use email or phone.
Social media
Our website may contain simple links to our Instagram and Facebook pages. No data is sent to these networks when you visit our website. If you choose to follow these links or to message us on these platforms, your data is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, with a possible transfer to the United States, under the same conditions as described for WhatsApp and under these networks’ privacy policies. When you visit our pages on these networks, Meta provides us with aggregated statistics on their traffic.
Recipients
Your data is processed by Elegem Immobilier. Our hosting and email provider is Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland). If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp or to visit our pages on social media, the providers concerned also process your data, as described above. As part of a mandate and with your consent, some information may be shared with third parties where necessary (for example a notary, a lender, a contractor or a property portal).
Retention
Your data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request. If a mandate is concluded, the related documents are kept for the period required by law (generally ten years for accounting records). Requests that do not lead to a mandate are deleted after two years at the latest. Listings are removed once the property is sold or let, unless the client agrees to keep them as a reference.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its correction, its deletion or its delivery in a common format (portability), or object to its processing, by writing to contact@elegem.ch. No decision concerning you is made by fully automated means. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Security
The website is only accessible over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure. Ordinary emails are not end-to-end encrypted; for sending sensitive documents, we can agree on a suitable method together.
6. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This website and this notice are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered place of business of Elegem Immobilier, subject to any mandatory places of jurisdiction provided by law.
7. Changes
This page may be updated if the website or the law changes. The online version prevails.
